Brian has been practising in Perth for the past five years at wellness centres in the city and with massage professional corporations.

Privately Brian has volunteered his services to Men’s Wizard Cup Team, The Harlies and also at St. John of God Hospice in Murdoch, gaining experience in sporting injuries and palliative care massage.

Brian is an excellent soft tissue practitioner who uses Myoskeletal Alignment Techniques to restore balance to the muscles supporting the pelvis and spinal column.

He specialises in helping relieve pelvic/back dysfunction and shoulder conditions in order to achieve musculoskeletal balance and attain a more balanced body. Brian is looking forward to working with Chelsea Chiropractic & Wellness and meeting many new faces.

Types of Massages

Remedial massage

Massage techniques such as sports massage, trigger point therapy and PNF stretching combined for an overall curative approach.

Neuro Somatic Therapy

An integrative approach to assessing and charting postural distortion. Using corrective massage techniques to address certain area, (Orthopedic massage, craniofacial balancing, visceral massage, TMJ balancing).

Trigger Point Massage

Trigger point therapy is a non-invasive therapeutic modality for the relief and control of myofascial pain and dysfunction. The goal of treatment is the client’s recovery from or a significant reduction in myofascial pain. The treatment goal is achieved through a systematized approach. Treatment consists of trigger point compression, massage, passive stretching, and a regime of corrective exercises.

Orthopedic Massage

Combining some elements of sports and medical massage, orthopedic massage integrates ten modalities to treat soft-tissue pain and injury. Emphasis is placed on understanding both the injury and its rehabilitation criteria. Three basic elements adhered to, despite the technical diversity in treatment, are assessment, matching the treatment to the injury, and adaptability of treatment.

Myoskeletal Alignment Technique

A holistic approach to relief of back and neck pain based on concepts and principles from Rolfing, osteopathy, and related physical medicine. Focused on detecting and correcting strain patterns to prevent back/neck pain, this technique combines deep-tissue work with assisted stretching and non-force spinal alignment.

Professional Sports Massage, Remedial massage and general relaxation massage is claimable under many private health finds. Please check with you health fund provider if you are eligible or how to claim.

Each individual therapist has a different provider number for each health fund, so of claiming you will need to pay for your treatment and then take your receipt and claim directly with your health fund provider.
