Join us in spreading Holiday Cheer: Christmas Community Giveaway for Foster Children

The holiday season is a time of joy, warmth, and giving, and what better way to embrace the spirit of Christmas than by participating in the Christmas Community Giveaway organized by Chelsea Chiropractic & Wellness? This year, we have partnered with “Care Bags – Because Children in Care, Matter,” a remarkable WA-based charity dedicated to providing support to foster children between 1 and 12 years old in sizes up to 16 for the kids who qrow quickly. Children enter care under quite traumatic circumstances, with, at times, just the clothes they are wearing! A Care Bag, whilst a small gesture for these children, sends a strong, positive message that they matter, are valued, and give them comfort.

How Can You Make a Difference?

The Chelsea Chiropractic & Wellness Christmas fundraiser is focusing on the 7 – 12 year old age group.

  1. Assemble a Care Bag:
Make up a care bag (ALL clothes must be NEW, the same size and in original packing or with swing tags). Simply buy a bag (backpack, duffle, etc) and choose an age between 7 and 12 years old. Pick either a boy/girl and items for winter/summer.
Essential items to include in your Care Bag:
  • Hairbrush or Comb
  • Toothbrush and toothpaste
  • 1x Pyjamas
  • 2x Outfits of Clothing
  • 2x Pairs of socks and underwear
  • 1x Book/Journal
  • 1x Soft Toy/Teddy Bear
  • 2x Activities (games, toys, colouring book, puzzles, blanket)
Please NO shoes, food, razors, scissors, aerosol cans or fragile products i.e glass. Please do not include any Christmas-themed products.
    1. Make a Donation:

    If assembling a Care Bag isn’t feasible, consider making a monetary donation or contributing individual items suitable for 7-12-year-olds. Chelsea Chiropractic & Wellness will use these donations to create Care Bags on your behalf. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a meaningful difference in a child’s life.

    When: All donations will be gratefully received up to Saturday, December 23, 2023.
